last hope: The abstention
Finally, finally! The turnout has become the first party. Another small percentage is missing and we can put this crisis in wet decrepit system of power that is still called democratic. It 's just because of this false definition that the Emperor and the big crowd of his minions can scream to victory, despite having achieved a sharp decline both in numbers and percentages of all the latest competitions. That still need some clarifying remarks.
PDL League set to 0.7 and have reached the right a rate of about 40% of the votes cast (about 26 million), equivalent then to about 10.4 million votes. If we compare this figure to the total eligible voters, approximately 41 million, it follows that the vast right-wing coalition victory cheering really represents just 25% of those entitled to vote. I would like to complete the analysis of the second phrase of my friend, that is the loser, because here is another half of the explanation of why the right "wins." Someone has said, these days, that the PD is a headless person in the territory. On the contrary, I think it's headless especially at the top. Apart from the lists of scary for some years to this part of the strategies, alliances, the method of choice, who would pass for genuinely democratic, but then are always dominated by the palace conspiracies and the usual power plays performed by actors who dominate the scene for many decades. E’ proprio questa differenza che determina le scelte di voto, diversamente l’uno vale l’altro.
Infine, tale appiattimento si verifica anche sulle scelte fondamentali di politica economico finanziaria, dal momento che nessun partito di opposizione è capace di indicare dove trovare le risorse per affrontare una crisi profonda nel contesto di un Paese indebitato oltre ogni ragionevole misura e che rischia di fare tra poco la fine della Grecia. Le risorse vanno recuperate dai super ricchi, come indica il Governatore di Bankitalia, non già dai ceti medi.
Da ciò, molto verosimilmente, discende l’aumento del fenomeno astensionismo al quale paradossalmente dovremmo agganciarci, quale ultima dea, per sfaldare l’impianto mostruoso che stanno per mettere in atto i vincitori, l’imperatore con la riforma presidenzialista e il senatur con il federalismo, perché evidentemente 150 anni di unità possono bastare a questa povera Italia.
E la storia, così, si ripete, non quale maestra di vita bensì come maestra di malavita, in cui potranno sguazzare i vecchi e i nuovi intrallazzisti di ogni genere e di ogni risma. Probabilmente senza neanche piu’ l’ingombro dei Magistrati, la cui “riforma” è alle porte.
